Chase Bank launched in the UK in September 2021. Teaming up with MediaCom, Bearded Kitten were tasked with designing and delivering a unique and innovative experiential activation that would bring to life the new bank’s brand positioning of ‘rewarding banking’ for customers across the UK.

To support the bank’s launch, we rolled out a series of live activations in premium shopping centre destinations in five major cities in the lead up to Christmas. Aptly named The Chase Octagon, the central hub was an enormous, bespoke, immersive structure inspired by the Octagon-shaped Chase logo. Stepping inside, consumers got the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of busy Christmas shopping to enjoy a choice of three effortlessly rewarding experiences. The activation used smart-tech applications fused with mechanical innovations to create a five-minute user journey like no other! The crescendo of the experience involved the entire floor rotating 180 degrees to reveal an Octagon prize token hidden inside, translating to gift cards for consumers to help with their holiday spending, reinforcing the brand’s rewarding positioning. The activation saw over 10,000 participants through the five-week period, with awareness and consideration metrics seeing lift for those who participated in the experience.
