MET AMS was a first-of-its-kind festival where the metaverse and reality came to meet. Its purpose was to onboard a wider and more diverse audience into the space of the metaverse and web3 by offering an educative, cultural and immersive experience. The 4-day event explored the impact of the metaverse on different pockets of culture, from how virtual worlds and immersive tech provide a new creative canvas for creators and brands, to how web3 is disrupting the art, music, fashion and gaming industries. The first edition sold out and featured over 1500 visitors, 80+ speakers and artists, and 30+ brands from around the world, all coming together to discover new opportunities and build connections for the future.

Visitors praised the overall experience and were positively impressed by the diverse program and the various perks that enhanced the festival, ranging from an opening show that converged the digital and physical worlds, to a dining experience in an immersive art centre, to ticketed NFTs and a free MET AMS digital wearable - all catering to the best visitor experience. As a debut event, MET AMS exceeded all expectations for visitors, sponsors, partners, and our production team. We are establishing our brand and ready for the 2023 edition!
