Held on April 10, 2025, Canva Create: Uncharted welcomed 4,500 in-person attendees, alongside millions tuning in worldwide. The audience brought together key opinion leaders, enterprise decision-makers, entrepreneurs, creators, marketers, educators, investors, analysts, press, and the wider Canva community. More than just a product launch, our goal was to create an immersive experience where our community could be inspired, share ideas, and leave feeling empowered to create anything. At a moment when AI can feel overwhelming, it was especially important to us to position our product launches as intuitive, creative, and genuinely helpful, showing how data, AI, creativity, and productivity can come together in Canva to reduce overwhelm and offer a fresh way to work. Canva Create: Uncharted came to life through a global pre-event campaign, a worldwide online experience, and an immersive, theme-park-style event at Hollywood Park. The in-person event had playful activations, hands-on demos, 100+ speakers, and a keynote that blended product launches, brand storytelling, and musical guests. The keynote culminated in a musical finale that launched 45 features inspired directly by Canva community requests. Canva Create: Uncharted exceeded every goal. The keynote drew 6.6 million views in its first seven days, and the event generated over 500 pieces of media coverage, surpassing our global coverage target.
