Mark is an executive level marketer and an experienced Non-Executive Director and advisor. In his last executive role at Direct Line Group (DLG) Mark was Managing Director for Marketing & Digital. Prior to DLG Mark worked at HSBC, 118118 and Mars in a broad range of Marketing and Commercial roles. In his portfolio career, Mark combines Executive coaching with a number of NED and advisory roles for Accenture, HMRC, The Marketing Society, Saracens Rugby, The Institute for Customer Services, The UK Sepsis Trust and Save the Children. Mark is a Fellow of the Marketing Society and of the Marketing Academy. Mark also founded the Sprintathon charity event in 2016 which hacks the marathon by turning it into a giant sprint relay (fastest time 1:46:26) which has raised ¬£900k to date for Stand Up To Cancer.
