It is an absolute pleasure to be asked to be chair of the judging panel for the Campaign Experience Awards.


As we are all very aware, the past 2 years have been a challenge for all of us in the live / brand experience industry. I am and will always remain a massive believer that brand experience plays a vital part of the marketing mix. Over the last 12 months, as restrictions have begun to ease, it's been exciting to witness brands and businesses begin to invest and activate again. I am very much looking forward to finding out more about these activations and campaigns. I firmly believe with every challenge there is an opportunity and I am fascinated to learn about how all areas of the brand experience universe have utilised these opportunities.


I started my journey in the world of experience in 1999 at Ministry of Sound, where I entered the industry touring the Ministry of Sound brand around the UK and Europe. From there I joined the alcoholic beverages industry where I spent some time at Bacardi-Martini, after this I moved to Pernod Ricard, where I spent 16 years. During my career in the alcoholic beverages industry I was very lucky to work with some incredible people on some memorable (and award winning) experiences. Some highlights for me would be; Bacardi B-Bar, Jameson Cult Film Club, Campo Viejo’s Lake of Colour & Streets of Spain and Malibu’s partnership with Ibiza Rocks. In July 2020 I left corporate life and I set myself up as a consultant in this space. I have been very lucky over the last 18 months to have worked with people, businesses and brands who “pivoted” during the pandemic (just to stay in business) and it is fantastic to still be working with the same people, businesses and brands, to getting back to deliver live, in real life experience.
