Tobacco Dock’s dynamic and closely attuned team is one of its greatest assets. With regular cross-departmental training and a company-wide mentorship programme we put considerable resources into attracting and retaining the cream of the industry talent.
2018/2019 has seen us surpass the ambitious revenue targets we set ourselves, as well as achieving considerable growth in our client satisfaction scores and an increase of repeat clients. Our total number of events increased over the year from 130 to 252.
We have strategically placed ourselves to attract more tech events and to double our small event bookings. Investment into our tech infrastructure, the appointment of a VP in the U.S. and building relationships within our target industries have resulted in a slew of client wins from leading brands such as Apple, Samsung and many more. We also have an ever-growing list of returning events, such as Meatopia, Taste of London, Bike Shed and the Festival of Marketing.
Occupying the top two floors of our multi-storey car park, Skylight is an urban lawn club by summer and home to Europe’s only rooftop real ice ice-rink in winter. Offering award-winning cocktails and delicious street food, it’s one of London’s most exciting bars and last year attracted over 100,000 guests.
We have plans in motion to further improve our offering, with a multi-million pound investment programme into regenerating our Quayside entrance experience and the creation of winter pavilions to keep guests warm in the outdoor parts of the venue, whatever the time of year.
