This project was a creative collaboration by the best of British. Cheerful Twenty conceptualised and led the project, an award-winning London-based agency with over 10 years of Cannes build experience.
Our core objective was to create a game-changing, world-class brand experience that represented the unmistakably British, bold and creative spirit of BBC Studios. To launch the newly merged BBC Worldwide with BBC Studios to their global stakeholders. To create a physical brand space that embodied the BBC Studios and reflected their ambition to continue as industry leaders.
The culmination was an incredibly unique, two-storey temporary structure that will continue to see strong return on investment over the next few years as an exhibition icon for BBC Studios. ‘The Pavilion’, designed to facilitate modular assembly, has the capacity to travel globally to other relevant events for BBC Studios. It is built from raw, recyclable materials and intended for an environmentally sustainable legacy.
The versatile stand effortlessly facilitates daily changes in BBC Studios’ event schedule, be it a private sales meeting, content showcase or networking opportunity. Views from the second storey offer a breath-taking view, amplified when the external petal façade opens to reveal viewing platform above the Cannes bay.
The Pavilion will continue to see strong return on investment in coming years, as a sustainable and re-useable exhibition icon for BBC Studios. Comparably, a traditional exhibition stand is single use, making The Pavilion an efficient and game changing asset.
